Position: General Worker

About the Role
Our company is seeking dedicated and reliable General Workers to join our team. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys keeping things organized, clean, and running smoothly. You will play an important part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our warehouse, office, and outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities
As a General Worker, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Sorting, Tidying, and Cleaning Packaging Material & Pallets
- Organizing packaging material in a neat and orderly manner.
- Removing damaged packaging and ensuring pallets are stacked correctly.
- Keeping storage areas clutter-free for easy access and safety.
- Tidying and Cleaning the Warehouse
- Sweeping floors, dusting shelves, and keeping aisles clear.
- Maintaining a safe and hazard-free working environment.
- Assisting in moving stock or materials when needed.
- Maintaining Outdoor Areas
- Tidying, sweeping, and cleaning the warehouse yard, parking lot, and other exterior spaces.
- Ensuring outdoor pathways remain free from debris and hazards.
- Garden Upkeep
- Keeping garden and green areas clean, neat, and tidy.
- Watering plants, trimming shrubs, and removing weeds when necessary.
- Office Cleaning Assistance
- Assisting the cleaning staff in offices with tasks such as cleaning windows, emptying bins, and maintaining toilets.
- Ensuring shared spaces are fresh and presentable for staff and visitors.
- Assisting with Handyman Jobs
- Helping with small repairs, moving furniture, or basic maintenance tasks.
- Following instructions from supervisors to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
- Additional Ad-Hoc Duties
- Supporting other departments with tasks that may arise unexpectedly.
- Maintaining a flexible attitude towards different work assignments.
Requirements
- Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle manual work.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- No previous experience required – training will be provided for the right candidate.
