🧹 Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Cleaner will play an important role in maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are kept in pristine condition daily.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Thoroughly cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms daily, including changing bed linens, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Ensuring communal areas such as the reception, dining areas, hallways, and lounges are neat, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
• Restocking essential room amenities such as toiletries, towels, and other guest necessities.
• Reporting any damages, maintenance issues, or missing items to management immediately.
• Laundering linens and ensuring fresh, neatly pressed sheets are always available.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are always in good working condition.
• Following strict hygiene, safety, and cleaning protocols in line with hospitality standards.
• Providing friendly and professional assistance to guests when needed.
• Working closely with other staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.

✅ Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen with valid ID.
• Minimum of Grade 10 education (Matric preferred but not mandatory).
• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, preferably in hospitality, hotels, or guest houses.
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking.
• No criminal record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
