About the Learnership Programme
This Boilermaker Learnership falls under the 18.2 category, which is specifically for unemployed youth. The selected candidate will sign a Learnership Agreement and be registered with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) to ensure the programme is compliant, structured, and nationally recognised.
The learnership combines theoretical knowledge with practical, on-the-job training, preparing you for a future in the mechanical and fabrication industry, particularly in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, and construction. 18.2 Learnership Programme
Minimum Requirements to Apply
Applicants must be unemployed, South African citizens, and technically inclined. In addition, you must meet at least one of the following educational requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with:
- Pure Mathematics (Maths Literacy does not qualify)
- Physical Science
- English
(All subjects must be passed)
OR
- N2 Certificate with four relevant subjects, including:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Plus two additional trade-related subjects
OR
- Engineering NCV Level 4 Certificate with seven subjects relevant to the trade
OR
- Technical Grade 11 with:
- Maths
- Physical Science
- Language
- Relevant trade theory subject
OR
- N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S, or N stream) in a relevant field
🔑 A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
