The BANK SETA In-Service Training program for TVET College students offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical work experience while receiving a monthly stipend. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, providing students with hands-on training in various banking and financial disciplines. Participants will benefit from professional development, mentorship, and exposure to industry practices, enhancing their skills and employability. This program not only supports students in applying their theoretical knowledge but also equips them with the practical experience needed to excel in their future careers.
Available Positions:
1: Business Management In-Service Training
- Number of Posts: 20
- Stipend: R4,500 per month (18 months)
- Centre: Any Available Host Employer
- Reference No.: MTC-BS/BM/2024
- Requirements:
- National N6 Certificate in Business Management
- South African youth (under 35 years)
- Valid South African Identity Document/Smart Card
- No criminal record
- Commitment to complete the program
- No previous stipend recipient
- Skills and Values:
- Administrative, planning, and organizing skills
- Financial management, report writing
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving, computer literacy
- Client-oriented, project management
- Team leadership, people management
- Integrity, proactive, loyal, ethical
- Punctuality and willingness to learn
- Duties:
- Perform tasks as instructed by supervisor/mentor
- Complete tasks related to developmental requirements
2: Human Resource Management In-Service Training
- Number of Posts: 15
- Stipend: R4,500 per month (18 months)
- Centre: Any Available Host Employer
- Reference No.: MTC-BS/HRM/2024
- Requirements:
- National N6 Certificate in Human Resource Management
- South African youth (under 35 years)
- Valid South African Identity Document/Smart Card
- No criminal record
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to complete the program
- No previous stipend recipient
- Skills and Values:
- Administrative, planning, and organizing skills
- Financial management, report writing
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving, computer literacy
- Client-oriented, project management
- Team leadership, people management
- Integrity, proactive, loyal, ethical
- Punctuality and willingness to learn
- Duties:
- Perform tasks as instructed by supervisor/mentor
- Complete tasks as per instructional offerings indicated in the logbook
3: Management Assistant In-Service Training

- Stipend: R4,500 per month (18 months)

- Reference No.: MTC-BS/MA/2024
- Requirements:
- National N6 Certificate in Management Assistant
- South African youth (under 35 years)
- Valid South African Identity Document/Smart Card
- No criminal record
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to complete the program
- No previous stipend recipient
- Skills and Values:
- Administrative, planning, and organizing skills
- Financial management, report writing
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving, computer literacy
