Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Grade 10 to Grade 12 (Matric not compulsory but will be an advantage).
  • Experience: Prior cleaning experience is required. Applicants must have worked in an office, retail, hospitality, or industrial cleaning environment.
  • Skills:
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment and materials correctly.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Attributes: Reliable, punctual, honest, and committed to delivering excellent service.

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that the workplace environment is kept clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming all designated areas.
  • Cleaning restrooms, kitchens, and staff common areas.
  • Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of properly.
  • Sanitizing surfaces, desks, and high-touch points.
  • Reporting any damages, repairs, or safety hazards immediately.
  • Following all company cleaning and safety protocols.
  • Maintaining cleaning materials and equipment in good working order.
