Role Overview
We are seeking Pickers and Packers to join our Gauteng team. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires individuals with strong attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
The Picker/Packer will be responsible for handling orders, picking stock accurately, packing items securely for delivery, and ensuring that all orders meet company quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and who take pride in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
As a Picker/Packer, you will play an important role in warehouse operations. Your duties will include:
- Order Picking: Locating and selecting items from the warehouse based on order sheets or system instructions.
- Packing Orders: Safely and securely packing goods to ensure they arrive undamaged at their destination.
- Inventory Control: Assisting with stock counts, maintaining organization, and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Quality Checking: Ensuring items are in good condition, meet the correct specifications, and comply with customer requirements.
- Loading and Unloading: Assisting with receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Housekeeping: Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the warehouse environment.
- Teamwork: Supporting colleagues and collaborating with supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
Skills and Attributes Required
The ideal candidate for this role should possess:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move goods throughout the day.
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role will be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of Grade 10 (Matric/Grade 12 is an advantage).
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
- No criminal record.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is beneficial but not compulsory.
